On Thursday 30th June, the Government announced that a joint £82m investment by the Departments for Culture (DCMS) and Education (DfE) will mean that, over the next three years, as many as 3,000 primary schools across rural England will now get access to broadband (full fibre) speeds of up to 1000Mbps.
