Next Steps For Southampton FN4S Schools
The current Schools Broadband FN4S framework for Southampton schools – which covers Broadband, Filtering, Firewall and Antivirus – is coming to an end on 31st December 2025.
Historically, Southampton City Council IT Team have managed this service on your behalf, but the Council Team from 1st January 2026, will no longer be managing this for you.
In addition, the framework under which your broadband and associated services are being delivered won’t be renewed by Hampshire County Council, after this date and any new contracts or renewals for internet services will no longer be managed under the existing framework agreement, or by Southampton City Council.
The great news is that you can seamlessly utilise your internet services from us directly and we’d be happy to provide you with a renewal quote for uninterrupted service beyond the 31st December 2025. We are here to support you through this transition and ensure that your school continues to receive safe, secure and reliable internet services without disruption.
Orders for internet services continuing beyond 31st December 2025, must be placed by the end of September.
