Schools Broadband Awarded Best Customer Protection

Schools Broadband awarded “Best Customer Protection” 2023 at the 25th ISPA Awards

Last week saw The Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) unveil the winners of the 25th Anniversary ISPA Awards, whereby the winners represent the pinnacle of innovation and excellence in the ISP industry. Talk Straight, parent company of Schools Broadband, is therefore thrilled and proud to have received the Award for Best Customer Protection.

With multiple wins already under our belt for Best Security and Cloud Services, we are particularly pleased to receive the first ever award for the new category of “Customer Protection.”

David Tindall, CEO said: “We always put our customers’ security and safeguarding at the heart of everything we do, so this award really means a lot to us.”

The judges were impressed with our multi-layered approach to the protection of our customers, providing; advanced Unified Threat Management, Data Leak Prevention, use of advanced AI analysing 100 billion daily security events and updates and Intrusion Detection and real-time prevention from new, previously unknown malware.

The judges were also impressed that we can instantly alert our customers to any severe access attempts within our centralised incident management platform, allowing customers to configure real-time alerts, helping to keep their end-users secure.

This together with monitoring our school networks 24/7/365 and the fact we manage most of our customers’ firewalls for them, is what sets us apart from other providers, and is what we believe makes us deserved winners of this prestigious award.
