This training session for School Governors, delivered by safeguarding consultant Joanne Bocko, aims to enhance your understanding of the recently changed responsibilities in digital safeguarding, as outlined in the KCSiE 2023 document and reinforced in the KCSiE 2024 document.
The course looks at the critical importance of filtering and monitoring, equipping Governors and SLTs with strategic knowledge to ask the right questions and understand what key evidences should be requested from Designated Safeguarding Leads. The course also covers all necessary training staff and governors should receive, what your school policies should include and how to maintain ongoing vigilance through a whole school approach to digital safeguarding.
